Blast from the Past Friday

My dear friend Devin came up with this idea. It's to give readers an idea of our "history" before blogging. Dev went back a couple of years - but I'm going way, WAY back. I'm going to cheat slightly by using my profile pic for this first one, because I know it's too small to really make out much detail on the sidebar. Plus I'm so darn CUTE!

This is me, my sister, and my dad, circa late 1974/early 1975. That sweet little baby is me. It's so funny for me to see pictures like these, because my mom's house doesn't look this way anymore, but I clearly remember when it did. I always hated that couch, because I would either stick to it or slide off of it every time I tried to sit on it. My mom still has that coffee table. Probably those ashtrays, too. The pictures on the shelf in the background are my sister and my uncle Mike, who must have graduated high school around that time. My dad is sporting some SWEET 70's hair - it didn't get longer, it got BIGGER. Of course, those were back in the days when my dad also rocked a huge Magnum P.I. mustache as well. Okay, so I don't know if Magnum was around back then, but I'd bet Tom Selleck had the 'stache then, too.

Those were the good ole' days - back when the only things I needed to do were eat, sleep, and poo. Good times, good times...

Hello, Gorgeous!

subtitled: Tuesday Tip O' the Day...

When you have lovely tulips blooming in your yard, bring some of them into the house so you can enjoy them all day long!!!

I picked these in the rain this morning, and was able to catch this great picture of the raindrops still clinging to the petals.
